About Us

Setting Roots

Founded by the Sisters of the Redeemer, we’ve been partnering with families since 1987

Igniting Hope

Drueding Center was the first transitional housing program for women and children experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia

Promoting Recovery

As a Sanctuary Certified site, Drueding Center provides healing and safety in a trauma-informed community

Providing Housing

We embrace a Housing First approach to unconditionally address the core issue of providing shelter and immediately develop a housing plan

Effecting Change

Integrating a trauma-informed and Housing First approach, our Theory of Change guides how we help vulnerable families heal from trauma, restore hope, and end the cycle of homelessness
